* VAT. For charters starting in France the full VAT rate of 20% would be charged on the Charter Fee if there is not a navigational passage in international waters during the charter. France currently allows a reduced rate VAT of 10% if the charter itinerary entails a navigational passage in international waters (i.e. South of France to Corsica or potentially on a passage that is 12 nautical miles offshore). Reduced rate VAT is granted at the discretion of the tax authorities and cannot be guaranteed.
