Notes on Galapagos Charters, Charter Fees and Terms:
All charter yachts in the Galapagos operate with an Ecuadorian crew. Each charter is assigned a fixed itinerary by the Galapagos National Park to ensure minimal adverse impact to the local ecology by restricting the number of visitors on land and at sea at one time in any given area. These itineraries are very active and all guests should be physically fit to fully enjoy the trip.  All charters are accompanied by a bilingual naturalist guide.
Charter Fees include:

  • All meals on board
  • Fuel
  • Transfers in the islands
  • Land excursions that form part of the fixed itinerary
  • Bilingual naturalist guide
  • Use of snorkeling equipment and wetsuits
  • Use of Kayaks
  • Coffee, tea and soft drinks

Charter Fees do not include:

  • Mainland-Galapagos-Mainland airfare
  • Alcoholic drinks
  • $100 Galapagos National Park fee *
  • $20 Transit Control Card *
  • Travel / medical insurance
  • Gratuities

Explanation of Standard Program and Deluxe Program Charter Fees:
The Standard Charter Fee applies to the regular, casual all-inclusive way of chartering in the Galapagos. Meals are fixed menu, served buffet style and, while not gourmet, are fresh and plentiful.
The Deluxe Charter Fee upgrades the level of service aboard by adding a specialized bilingual team to the core Ecuadorian crew. The team will be specially selected for your charter and will consist of a cruise manager to oversee and coordinate the many aspects of the charter operation, a dedicated professional photographer, a trained chef experienced in fine dining (the standard cook remains on board and acts as sous chef), a host to oversee the interior staff service and a selected naturalist guide from the highest certification levels. The Deluxe team will tailor any requirement to ensure a unique and seamless experience.
In addition to upgraded service, charter guests may select two (7 or fewer day programs) to three (8 or more day programs) Explorer activities to add to those normally offered in a standard itinerary. Explorer activities may include:

  • Diving for up to 10 guests,
  • Free Diving for up to 10 guests
  • Catch and Release Fishing for up to 9 guests
  • Seafaris for up to 9 guests
  • Visit to Charles Darwin station for all guests
  • Cave dinner for all guests
  • Massage therapist
  • Photography workshop
  • Kayaking excursion
  • Paddle board yoga
  • Surfing
  • Airfaris
